Scholarly profile of Stefano Merlo


Stefano Merlo completed a bachelor's degree at the LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome and two master's programs at University College London. In 2023, he completed his PhD in Political Economy at the John Stuart Mill College of the Free University of Amsterdam. During his doctoral studies, he was a visiting scholar at renowned institutions such as the London School of Economics, the European University Institute in Florence and the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. He is currently an Associate Lecturer in the Department of Political Science at University College London, where he also directs the Master's program »Legal and Political Theory«.
