Giovanni Vian

Associate Professor of Ecclesiastical History and History of Christianism, Università Ca’Foscari (Venice)

Resident at the Forschungskolleg Humanwissenschaften:
August 2012

Research topic at the Forschungskolleg Humanwissenschaften:
»Antimodernism under Pope Pius X. The ›Encyclical Rascendi‹ of 1907«

Project outline:
(Giovanni Vian)

Professor Giovanni Vian follows an invitation of Claus Arnold, Professor of Church History at Goethe University, and the research training group of the German research foundation »Theology as a Science« (DFG-Graduiertenkolleg 1728).
