Neue Veranstaltungsreihe am Forschungskolleg Humanwissenschaften

Im Juni 2010 beginnt die Veranstaltungsreihe »Warenästhetik. Neue Perspektiven auf Konsum, Kultur und Kunst« am Forschungskolleg Humanwissenschaften. In vier Abendvorträgen werden Wissenschaftler/innen verschiedener Disziplinen ihre jeweilige Sicht auf die Bedeutung von Konsum und die Ästhetik der Warenwelt in der Gegenwart zur Diskussion stellen. Alle Referenten gehen über die etablierten kapitalismus- und konsumkritischen Ansätze hinaus und machen − mit oft überraschenden Beobachtungen − auf die produktiven, kreativen Momente von Konsum und der Ästhetik der Warenwelt aufmerksam. Die Vortragsreihe beginnt am 29. Juni 2010 mit einem Vortrag von Wolfgang Ullrich (Staatliche Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe) zum Thema »Konsumpoesie. Eine neue Form der Aneignung von Produkten«. Es folgen die Vorträge von Daniel Miller (University College London) am 25. Oktober 2010, Eva Illouz (Hebrew University Jerusalem) am 9. November 2010 und Thomas Wegmann (HU Berlin) am 6. Dezember 2010.
