»Political Philosophy and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict« (with Daniel Statman)

Project outline:
The last two decades or so have witnesses significant progress in three topics in political philosophy: (1) territorial rights, (2) group rights, in particular the right to national self-determination, and (3) just war theory. The purpose of our book project is to use the research on these topics in order to offer a fresh look on key points of disagreement regarding the Jewish- or the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Yitzhak Benbaji is a fellow at the Forschungskolleg Humanwissenschaften at the invitation of the Director Professor Matthias Lutz-Bachmann and of Professor Chrisitian Wiese. His stay is funded by the Frankfurt-Tel Aviv Center for the Study of Religious and Interreligious Studies.
