She was a Visiting Scholar at George Washington University Law School (Washington D.C.) and a Junior Fellow with the DFG Research Group »Normenbegründung in der Medizinethik und Biopolitik« at the University of Münster. In 2017, she taught at the University of Hannover and in 2018 at the University of Bielefeld, where she held the chair for criminal law, criminal procedural law, philosophy of law and comparative law with special emphasis on interdisciplinary legal research. Since November 2018 she has been Principal Investigator at the Cluster of Excellence »The Formation of Normative Orders«.
