Christophe Arend, a member of the French party »La République En Marche« founded by Emmanuel Macron was elected to the French National Assembly as a representative of the Department of Moselle in June 2017. As the president of the groupe d'amitié franco-allemand he is responsible for the German French friendship.
Lecture series EuropaDialoge/Dialogues d‘Europe
The lecture series »EuropaDialoge/Dialogues d’Europe« is organized by the Forschungskolleg Humanwissenschaften in cooperation with the Deutsch-Französisches Institut für Geschichts- und Sozialwissenschaften – Institut Franco-Allemand de Sciences Historiques et Sociales of Goethe University. The academic directors are Professor Matthias Lutz-Bachmann and Professor Pierre Monnet. The goal of the lecture series is to create an opportunity for experts from the fields of academia, culture, politics and business to speak on topics of importance in Europe as well as a forum for the public discussion of their positions.
