The speaker
Dr. Thomas Schimmer has been a reserach assistant at the Forschungskolleg Humanwissenschaften since 2019. He received his PhD in Philosophy from the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. His book Phänomenologische Kulturkritik. Praktische und kulturphilosophische Perspektiven bei Edmund Husserl, Martin Heidegger und Michel Henry was published in 2018 by Ergon publishing house (Baden-Baden).
