News on former fellows
Former Fellows informed us about changes in their academic activities: Afsoun Afsahi, Jakob Huber, Bruno Leipold, Mara Marin, Patrick Tomlin

Mara Marin was, on the invitation of the research centre »Justitia Amplificata«, a guest at the Forschungskolleg Humanwissenschaften from September 2012 - March 2013 with the research topic »Oppression and Obligations of Commitment«. She is now Assistant Professor of Political Theory at the University of Victoria in Canada. Her book "Connected by Commitment. Oppression and Our Responsibility to Undermine It" was published in 2017.

Patrick Tomlin was, also on the invitation of the research centre »Justitia Amplificata«, a guest at the Forschungskolleg Humanwissenschaften from September to November 2016. Since April 2018, he has been a lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Warwick, where he has accompanied the development of a new Bachelor's programme in Philosophy, Politics and Law.

Afsoun Afsahi, Bruno Leipold and Jakob Huber were invited by »Justitia Amplificata. Rethinking Justice − Applied and Global« as Postdoctoral Fellows at the Forschungskolleg Humanwissenschaften in the academic year 2017/18. They all found new jobs after their stay in Frankfurt and Bad Homburg. Afsoun Afsahi is now Assistant Professor of Political Theory and Gender at the Institute for Political Science at the University of Amsterdam. Bruno Leipold joined the European University Institute in Florence as a Max Weber Fellow. Jakob Huber is part of the postdoctoral programme of the Cluster of Excellence »The Formation of Normative Orders«, where he is working on his project on »Democratic Hope«.
